Day 1: Flight to Gobi - Bayanzag (flaming cliffs) – Moltsgog sand dunes

Transfer to the airport for morning flight to Dalanzadgad, which is a small town of Gobi. This flight takes 1.5hrs. 
Upon arrival, your Gobi tour guide and private driver will be waiting for you at arrival hall and drive to the flaming, red cliffs at Bayanzag - is a famous for the first discovery of dinosaur eggs, bones and complete dinosaur skeletons which is first discovered by Roy Chapman Andrews, American expedition in the 1920. Also, this area well known for red tall rocks formed as a result of wind and water erosion which look like fire in the middle of the desert from distance. We might find an egg and bones of dinosaurs around Bayanzag. White fossilized bones are still found nowadays.
After explore Bayanzag, we will take short drive to the Tourist Ger camp for lunch.
In the afternoon, we will enjoy visiting camel herder family in their Ger, explore their unique nomadic lifestyle.  Its chance to try drinking Hormog (fermented Mongolian camel milk).
Next, we will explore Moltsog Els, is one of the few regions of the Gobi covered by sand dunes.  These stunning sand dunes are surrounded by hills with willow trees, streams and bushes.
There is the perfect place for camel riding. We will discover this magnificent place on camel back. Mongolia is home to 2/3 of the two-humped Bactrian camels in the world. It is a gentle, calm and extraordinary patient animal and can carry on without water for a month.  Bet, you never rode a Bactrian camel, riding a Bactrian camel is much more comfortable than the camel in Sahara, India or anywhere else. Its two humps support you from both sides and easy pace will comfort you so much.
Return drive to the Ger camp for dinner and overnight. (L, D)

Day 2: Three beauties of Gobi Mt. National Park & Eagle valley - Gobi Nomad Lodge 
This day if you can get up early morning, you will have chance to see how the sunrise in the Gobi.
After relaxing breakfast, your trip will continue to the Yol valley situated in “Three beauties of Gobi” Mt. National Park. Yol means Lammergeyer, one of the most endangered bird species of prey. The valley is notable for a deep ice field; it remains frozen for most of the year, except late summer.
After lunch at tourist Ger camp, we will take short drive to the valley and enjoy hiking through grassy meadows, small streams, long and narrow valley with sheltered by high cliff walls, sunlight bouncing off amazing rocks, covered with wild flowers and Gobi plants.  You may be lucky enough to spot wild sheep and goat, grazing high on the cliff walls.
Dinner and overnight at Ger camp(B, L, D)

Day 3: Fly back to UB
In early morning, transfer to the local airport for morning flight to Ulaanbaatar.
Upon arrival around 10am at the city airport, transferred to your hotel in Ulaanbaatar. (B)

What is tourist Ger camp? It’s most popular accommodation type for countryside trip in Mongolia that consists of 20-30 Gers (Mongolian traditional yurt), a restaurant and some entertainment facilities. Each Ger has 2 to 4 beds and furnished with a table, chairs and a wood-stove. Modern toilet and hot shower facilities is separate house . The restaurant mostly serves with Western and Mongolian meals. Most visitors prefer to stay in Ger, which provide an authentic taste of Mongolian culture and adventure, their most enjoyable experience in Mongolia.

Mongolia is one of the world’s last truly nomadic cultures. For millennia, pastoral herders have lived on almost every corner of Mongolian, moving with their livestock according to the seasons. They still live in traditional felt Ger tents, subsisting on the meat and milk of their animals, and living “as free as the country is wide.”

The area is often imagined as a lifeless desert like in many other parts of the world. In reality, most part of the Gobi Desert is a land of steppes, sands, mountains and it is the home for camel breeders rich with wildlife and vegetation. Wild asses, camels, snow leopards, mountain sheep and gazelles flourish here, as do different types of flora.
