  TOUR DESTINATIONS & HIGHLIGHTS:

Mongolia is one of the world’s last truly nomadic cultures. For millennia, pastoral herders have lived on almost every corner of Mongolian, moving with their livestock according to the seasons. They still live in traditional felt Ger tents, subsisting on the meat and milk of their animals, and living “as free as the country is wide.”

Ulaanbaatar is a city of contrast where modern life comfortably blends with Mongolian traditional lifestyle. Wide streets are flocked by modern cars, while horsemen and cattle are still common scene.

Gobi Desert
is one of the most popular travel routes in Mongolia, the habitat of the rarest animals and a unique natural landscape. The Gobi Desert is a vast zone of desert and desert steppe covering almost 30 percent of the Mongolian territory. The area is often imagined as a lifeless desert like in many other parts of the world. In reality, most part of the Gobi Desert is a land of steppes, sands, mountains and it is the home for camel breeders rich with wildlife and vegetation. Wild asses, camels, snow leopards, mountain sheep and gazelles flourish here, as do different types of flora. Dinosaur skeletons and their petrified eggs have been preserved here to the present day.

What are the main highlights?

  • Yol valley with glacier covered canyon in hot summer days.
  • Khongor – 300m high sand dunes with green meadows; known as the "singing sands".
  • Flaming, red cliffs at Bayanzag - famous for the first discovery of dinosaur eggs and bones,
  • Clear skies, silence sunrise, amazing sunset, millions of stars in Gobi nights
  • Wild animals; herds of gazelle are quite common, and wild sheep, ibex and Gobi bear can be seen
  • Diverse of landscape; towering sand dunes, endless steppe with dancing mirages, high Rocky Mountains with tall cliffs
